VENICE, MIRROR OF DREAMS & SURREALISTIC CELEBRATION

Galeries Bartoux Venice inaugurates ACCADEMIA CINEMERSIVA, an immersive 500 m² space rising 12 metres under a majestic wooden frame, in the heart of the former Accademia cinema. From February to May 2026, the French art gallery group will unveil ‘Serenissimersivo’, a new animated film paying tribute to Salvador Dalí and his sculptural work.

Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the world of the master of surrealism through a visual and audio installation designed with the utmost care and respect for his work and artistic legacy. Through ‘Serenissimersivo’, viewers enter the mind and intimate dreams of Salvador Dalí. In the artist’s imagination, Venice becomes a city in perpetual metamorphosis, where stone liquefies and palaces seem to float outside of time. For the first time, Salvador Dalí’s sculptures come to life through seven dreamlike sequences. La Serenissima becomes the interior setting for this creation, a
suspended space in which Dalí’s imagination interacts with the architecture, water and light of the city.

This project is a continuation of the close relationship between Galeries Bartoux and Salvador Dalí. After several monumental exhibitions in Paris, Courchevel and the Château de Beaune, the opening of the Venetian space in October 2025 marks a new stage, with the presentation of his sculptures in collaboration with Dalí Universe. During ‘Serenissimersivo,’ collectors and art lovers will discover Salvador Dalí’s works both in the gallery and in the ACCADEMIA CINEMERSIVA space, where they come to life, gradually blurring the line between dream and reality. At the start of 2026, Galeries Bartoux unveils this first immersive film, created in partnership with Superbien, a French creative studio renowned for its artistic animation projects and collaborations with major international brands and artists. Supported by the City of Venice, this bold artistic project offers a contemporary
reinterpretation of Salvador Dalí’s work, at the intersection of art, cinema and dreams, connecting past and present.

Located at the foot of the Accademia Bridge and next to the prestigious Galleria dell’Accademia museum, in the heart of the cultural district of Dorsoduro, Galeries Bartoux Venice opened its doors in October 2025. This inauguration marks the culmination of two years of extensive renovation work on the former Accademia cinema.

This new venue has become an exceptional showcase, where contemporary art resonates with the eternal soul of La Serenissima. Across 1,200 m², collectors can discover:

• An art gallery showcasing our iconic artists and new artistic collaborations: a selection of paintings and sculptures by the greatest talents of our time;
• Le Café des Arts, nestled in a private garden and run by Maison Marcandole;
• An immersive and interactive space, culminating at a height of 12 metres under an authentic wooden roof structure.
